Are you harvesting the crop you want?

If you want to grow oaks, you have to plant acorns.

Duh! Obviously, you say.

But we don't always think about this in terms of how we live our lives. We don't always think that if we look down on someone, then we will not be growing a friend. If we are mean and spiteful, why should we expect a crop of love in our lives? If we don't dream big, why should we expect miracles?

What are you planting?

Do you need to change your seeds?

And to change the subject entirely, hop on over to inspired.gumnut.net  where I was recently interviewed by Liz Powley.

  1. I'd like to say I always try to inspire people, but I do have my days. lol I have made an slew of friends traveling around the 30 or more countries and I always try to leave people better off when I leave.

It's easier to smile or just let things go. The trick, if you want to call it that, is to KNOW your flash points, i.e., the things that make you go Mr. T on a fool.

Once you know that, you can work to prepare yourself for the time someone purposely or inadvertently pushes the RED button in your mind.

By the way, if you're not doing anything, I am hosting a "Dog Days of Summer" 3-day blog fest if you're interested. It runs from Aug 10-12.

    Cheers!

    1. Hi Jeremy.

That's a great attitude - leave people better off than you found them.

I guess I can find out about the "Dog Days of Summer" at your blog? I'll hop along and have a look.
