What's my niche?

When you move to a new church it can take a little while to find your niche, the same as with any other move. I have gone from somewhere where I organised the morning tea after the service, ran retreats and workshops, made sure that everything was there for communion, prayed with people after the service, was on the roster for reading and doing the intercessory prayers, to somewhere where, at the moment, I am not involved in anything.

All the places to serve already have people rostered on.

So I'm going to take some time to see how things are done, when, and by whom. I'm going to look for the place where my gifts best fit; where I can best serve the congregation and the community.

Eventually, I will find my place.

  1. Tracy, I really like this and your thoughts here. The one thing I KNOW about our Father in Heaven is that if He has a willing vessel (and it appears He does in you) He will make a path for those wonderful gifts He has placed in YOU!! His arm is not short! Can't wait to hear where you will most assuredly be fit in! You are an intricate piece in His puzzle! Blessings!

  4. Love your page, the colours, your new stamp in action. My goodness you were busy in your last church. God most assuredly has something for you to do, maybe its something completely new both for you and for your new church. The trouble often is staying patient to find out what! At least as you say it is fun!
