Summer of Colo(u)r 4 has begun! If you don't know what I'm talking about, check the button in the sidebar and join in the fun.
This week's colour combination is yellow and aqua with a hint of hot pink. These colours remind me so much of summer, which it isn't here at the moment :) We just get a few hints every now and then of the brilliant blue sky that marks the summer months. So I'm happy to revisit these colours and imagine the warmth that will eventually return.
Very nice. I like how you combined various elements and brought them altogether. I like that you add quotes to your work, too. I love quotes and used to do that, but somewhere along the way, I stopped. I have zillions of quotes in a file and can always find more online, so I ought to start doing that again.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping to view my SOC.
Great work and you have done the colors great justice :)
ReplyDeleteLove it and the quote is beautiful. Thanks for the heads up on the color challenge. I entered it and left you a note on my blog with a link back to your blog!
ReplyDeleteAdore all the layers in your piece. We've actually had a sunny day here so I have been sitting out playing my harp, so I agree your piece does reflect the warmth really well. B J
ReplyDeleteI love this page so much! I really like that pink dandelion!!!! You used the SOC colors beautifully!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful! I wanted to let you know that I relinked your page as the first one did not go through. It came out as "Page not found". So you will be on the list now :) xo
ReplyDeleteSo nice... and inspiring :)

this is so lovely :-)
ReplyDeleteYour piece is just wonderful. I have a very hard time collageing, which you master very well I can see. I love the pieces with the black marks on them, reminds me of doodling. And that pink flower, allium, is so beautiful as well. Very well done.
ReplyDeleteYou've used the colors very well and I love that quote.:)
ReplyDeleteWow this is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI really like your use of the colours and the base paper really adds to it.
ReplyDeleteLayers look fantastic and add so much depth to your page, great use of the challenge's colours :-) xxx
ReplyDeleteI love the seeds in pink blowing across your page. Just starting to be summer here and already I am to hot. Give me spring and autumn every time ;-)
