In this season of busyness it is easy to do too much, to wear yourself out. Knowing yourself and knowing what fills up your bucket is important, because it is
your responsibility to keep your bucket filled, no-one else's.
So in between the cooking and the serving and the visiting I'm making sure to fit in some art and creativity of some sort, because it energises me; it fills my bucket.
And when my bucket is full, I'm a much nicer person to live with.
What fills your bucket?
Tracy such a nice spread and a great message to everyone, looking at the world filled with positive energies could change a lot, not only in our own life, but also in others! Happy Holidays and a Merry Xmas to you and to your family!
ReplyDeleteI so agree agree with your thoughts, Tracy! I think my husband puts up with my crafting because he's realised that I'm a much happier person for it. Art and solitude (me time) definitely fill my bucket. I need a daily dose to keep going. Love the layout on which you expressed your feelings!
ReplyDeleteSo true, Tracy - I've been away from the studio for less than 24 hours, and I'm already feeling the Grinch in me rising. Time to get back in there! Wishing you have wonderful Christmas and a great 2015.
