Secret identity?

Do you spend more time in your 'secret' identity or wearing your mask?

We all wear masks. Some of us wear them all the time; some of us only in certain situations.

If I wear a mask, I don't have to reveal the real me. I can be a 'hero', showing only the best of me.

In my 'secret' identity - the real me - I am weak and flawed. If I show you the real me, I will be vulnerable to your judgement. But if I am vulnerable I am also authentic. When I show the real me, I give you permission to be the real you.

Let the masks be our secret identities.

Let us be heroic in secret.
