Brain fog

Those frustrating days when you reach for a word and it just isn't there. You can come up with a description of it, several words that mean the same, but the word itself is just not there.  Until two hours later when you don't need it, of course :) I know it's my age, and it will pass, but goodness, it's frustrating in the meantime!

  1. Oh this made me laugh, Tracy! It's a fabulously colourful picture of brain fog, and so very true. Not only am I dealing with this malady due to John's dementia, but it's increasing more and more in my own brain. The up side of that is that it makes me really curious about the functioning of the brain, and how to improve its operation. Meanwhile, one just needs to laugh in the midst of the fog, I suspect.

    1. I've read a few books on the brain and memory and the one thing I have learned is that there is so much more to learn!
