Nest

What's in your nest?

Sometimes pages just seem to take on a life of their own. This is one of those. No idea where it came from, but when it was done it was obviously a nest.

So what are nests all about? They are receptacles and shelters for eggs and young. They are cosy places to wrap up and settle in. They are bowl-like, used to hold, protect, or support something. So what is being laid or sheltered? What is being supported? Or do I just need a bit of quiet time? (Always!) I need to do a bit of thinking here.

  1. What a gorgeous page, Tracy, and I'm loving the whole nest concept. It's particularly apt here in Canada given we are now well into winter, when we do a whole lot of nesting and couch-potatoing. It's wonderful time to be thinking of home, family, and self care, I'd say.

    1. Thanks, Win. I see the photos of snow and imagine nestling down on the sofa with a knitted blanket and a good book. Then I look outside at the bright sunshine and throw off another layer! We're at the opposite ends of the pendulum swing of seasons at the moment, but we meet in the middle a couple of times :)
