I am not a robot!!!

I'm sorry. I have to say it. I've been holding it in for a long time but today I've had enough.
I have had a lovely time looking at everyone's work on Art Journal Every Day and various other things I like to peruse from time to time. But now I have been asked for what feels like the 78th time to prove that I am not a robot.

All I wanted to do was leave some encouraging feedback!

Now, I don't know about you, but I only have a certain amount of time to indulge in blog-hopping. I don't want to spend lots of it squinting while I try to work out what the blurry words are and what case they are in when they are all different sizes. I am not a robot, yet still I sometimes get it wrong. I have to tell you, I am more likely to abandon my attempt to comment than persevere.

Come on, people. Let's trust that people aren't robots and stop asking them to prove it.

  1. YES! Actually, I can't believe that a huge public protest about the RUDE "Prove You're Not a Robot" letters and numbers THAT NOBODY CAN READ CORRECTLY hasn't been all over bogosphere and newspapers and TV! I don't know where to complain about it to get it changed...but I am willing to try. It is just so RUDE. I hate rude. So, Thank You! Thank you. Kath PS I have given up on a comment or two lately after three tries to read the dang thing...

  2. Oh yes I am with you too! I was thinking of doing a similar post, guess I will just stop thinking and do it! There is an answer to this...if folks would turn on "comment moderation" this stops the whole "robot thing". You see all of your comments and approve them prior to them being published - which means you can stop spam in a much more pleasant way! Thanks!!

  3. When I read those codes I think it was far easier to decipher the writing by ancient civilizations than those darn letters and numbers. I have had to give up on comments too.

  4. Amen. I am getting to where I won't leave a comment on these sites anymore which I hate but it is so frustrating and time consuming.

Thanks for dropping by. I read and appreciate all your comments.
