I have enjoyed carving my own stamps for a few years now. When I find erasers at a good price I pick up enough to do an alphabet. Here is the one I made last night:
I'm looking forward the the upcoming Fall Fearless and Fly challenge where I hope to get the chance to use them :)
Seriously? You did ALL of these last night??!! From erasers??!! Ack! I am so super di duper impressed and in awe. Can you come over?!
ReplyDeleteIt took about 90 mins from sitting down to design them to the finished set :) The trick is to incorporate as many of the straight edges as you can in your design and minimise the cutting you have to do. I also have a good set of lino-cutting tools.
DeleteHow fun. That would be on my 'to do' list....and it would take me a year to complete the alphabet.
ReplyDeleteI too am trying my hand on carving stamps.Your alphabet stamps look great. I too need to try them. What kind of erasers do you use?

Hi Susan.
DeleteI use the ones that feel rubbery, not the grainy ones. Give it a go - it's great fun!
