Inspiration!

My husband is always on the lookout for things I might be interested in as he looks at design websites and innovations. He found this fabulous barbecue cookbook that comes apart to give you all the things you need to actually barbecue a piece of meat - the cover is a chopping board, there is foil, greaseproof paper, even salt and an apron included in the pages.

Now, as a bookbinder, that has really set me thinking...

And what about these gorgeous bubblewrap famous paintings by Bradley Hart? Paint injected into the bubblewrap to act as pixels. Great idea! And I only ever printed with it...

Inspiration

Where do you find inspiration? I found this fantastic photo by Bing Wright on the Colossal website - go look at the whole set of sunsets photographed in broken mirrors.

They make me want to do some paper mosaics with glossy paper...

Journal Fodder 365 - Prompt #21

This week's prompt is Inspirations and Nudges.

Inspiration can be found everywhere if you're open to it. Just breathe it in and let it percolate.

Then there are those people who are an inspiration to us, who keep us growing, who nudge us ever upwards. The trick is to keep on growing, to never stop learning, to take each and every moment and suck out all you can.

I love to see inspiration strike someone. The best is when my daughter suddenly has an idea for a story she is writing. You can see the inspiration move across her face, her eyes light up, you can almost see the thoughts flashing across her brain. Then she scurries off to her laptop, or rummages in her handbag for the notebook she always carries.

So breathe in, be lit from within, inspire and be inspired today.
