For February the theme is love, and this week, God's love.
John 3:16 is such a well-known verse and so familiar that we can easily gloss over it. Sure, God loves the world. Of course He does, He made it!
But how does it feel if we say: For God so loved you that He gave His only Son…
It can be a bit uncomfortable, can't it? Why is it so difficult for us to believe that we are loved?
It is easy for us to know objectively that we are loved; but to feel subjectively that we are loved can be a different ballgame.
But even if you don't feel it, it is so.
You are loved.
Not because of who you are, but because of who He is.
