29 Faces - Day 17

This face is drawn from a magazine photograph. I liked the different pose - the face tipped up. It makes the chin a completely different shape. I wanted to do a face that was made up of simple shapes and lines. The permanent pens force you to be bold with your lines and put up with any 'mistakes'. I think this is good discipline for me.

  1. Hi Tracy! I like the use of lines you did to create her face and hair. It is an unusual Pose to see and I think you did a great job with the lines and the shading. Markers are never forgiving, I use them a lot and tend to draw with a light, soft graphite first then use the markers. Hugs, Rasz
