What a wonderful quote and a zenful creation to boot. It reminded me of a quote I saw this morning that really resonates: “Instead of asking yourself “what do I want to do with my life?” Ask yourself “what do I want to do within my life?” Your life is not a moldable ball that must be constantly pulled and pinched into a perfect shape that you must figure out what do “with.” Your life is something that you are within. And when you start asking “what do I want to do within my life,” you start to realize there is a lot you can do: You can rest within your life. You can take naps within your life. You can learn, grow, and explore within your life. You can just be within your life. You can learn to make pasta. You can sit around and think. You can bird-watch and write. You can give, just because. You can take notes, take action, and take really long breaks. You can move to one for a year and move to another for a decade. You can go on and on for all of time asking: “What can I do within this life.” When you ask yourself this question you create room to roam, explore, and grow. It takes the pressure off. You create room to breathe.” - Morgan Harper Nichols
Oh, I love that quote. It is so expanding in that it allows for growth and a life of 'manys' rather than being limited to a single purpose. It will definitely go into my quote book and I'm sure 'with and within' will turn up on a page very soon...
