So my husband bought me a new book (I know, I got one of the great ones 😊) and I immediately set to work. This is my copper oxide ink - simple to make with copper, vinegar, and salt. Can't wait to start on the vine black once they prune the vines at the church hall...

I borrowed that one from the library, Tracy, and it's got some totally wonderful recipes for creating ink. I'm just positive you'll have a blast with that fabulous gift from your husband! Forgot to mention earlier that I was delighted to hear that your Easter service went to well; it's wonderful to create such memories for your congregation!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great book, isn't it? Even the edges of the pages are beautifully coloured. I keep flicking through it just to gaze at the sweeps of ink in the gorgeous layout.
