Walking the plateau

It can feel exhilarating to reach the peak after a period of growth.

But the plateau afterwards can feel almost like a trough, as if nothing is happening.

But the thing is, you need to walk the whole length of the plateau to reach the next lot of foothills. There is nothing else for it. If you want to continue to grow, you can't just stop because it feels like nothing is happening. To climb another peak, you have to walk the plain.

A constant climb is tiring.

We should embrace the plain, enjoy the rest, prepare for the next peak.

  1. How true is this! Thanks for the encouragement, its so easy to get discouraged in the valleys. Love your page, great flower in the upper corner like the next peak we are aspiring to!
